The park is spread at 60 hectares.

Discover the fascinating archaeological site of Vani, a multi-layered settlement that spans from the Iron Age to the Hellenistic era. Perched on a hill with three terraces and protected by deep ravines, Vani was continuously inhabited for several centirues. The site begins with its earliest phase in the VIII-VII centuries BC, believed to have been a cult center for the surrounding regions. The best-preserved structures, including the cult complex on the central terrace, offer a glimpse into this period. As you explore further, you’ll encounter the rich history of the VI-IV centuries BC, when Vani became a political and administrative hub of the Kingdom of Colchis. Archaeological finds, including exquisite goldsmithing artifacts, highlight its importance. In the later stages, Vani evolved into a temple city, focusing on religious purposes. Although it was destroyed in the mid-1st century BC, remnants from various periods, including the Late Neolithic and Middle Ages, continue to tell the story of this remarkable site. Visiting Vani is an invitation to step back in time and experience the layers of history that shaped this ancient settlement.
Visit Prometheus Cave;
