Ancient capital of Georgia, modern Mtskheta is a cozy town with its own architectural style and several important historical or religious centers, located at the confluence of two rivers: Mtkvari and Aragvi, offering at walking distance World Heritage UNESCO site, cafes and restaurants, open space small market and shops of souvenirs and handmade gifts.

Located at the top of the hill, VI century Cross monastery has the beautiful view of almost III thousand years old town – Mtskheta and confluence of two rivers: Mtkvari and Aragvi. Cross (Jvari) monastery is early, almost unchanged example of medieval architecture and World Heritage UNESCO site.

One of the venerated Religious centers for Georgians, claimed spot where Christ’s Mantle is kept, burial site of Georgian kings, still preserved unique medieval murals and even more, XI century Svetickhoveli Cathedral is cross-in-square architectural site which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Mtkvari River – same as Kura River starts in Turkey, through Georgia flows into Azerbaijan. Length of the river is 1515 km.
Aragvi river Starts from Greater Caucasian Mountains and ends in Mtskheta, flowing into the river Mtkvari (Kura) river. Total length of the river is 112 km.

Salobie is authentic local restaurant receiving guests since 1967 and offering Traditional Georgian food among which the most famous is bean soup in clay pot. Even the name “Salobie” – comes from Georgian word – “Lobio” that means bean.The restaurant
